About the Group
Our home education group offers a welcoming, creative, and engaging space for children aged 11–14. Each week, we come together to explore geography and history, bringing the past and the world around us to life through discussion, activities, and projects. This autumn we are focusing to Africa, past and present, and throughout December we will be looking a precolonial kingdoms and Empires.
We focus on:
- Building curiosity and confidence in learning
- Exploring historical events, cultures, and societies
- Investigating places, people, and the environment
- Encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and discussion

Practical Details
- When: Every Thursday, 1:30pm – 4:00pm
- Where: Make Play Connect (MPC), Angel Road, Norwich
- Who: Home educated children aged 11–14
- Cost: I believe learning opportunities should be accessible to everyone. That’s why I use a Pay What You Can approach. Families are welcome to contribute what feels affordable, with a suggested amount of £20 per session to support the preparation and delivery of the classes.
